Make It Happen

Part of Real Voice, Make It Happen Northumberland Artists allowed artists who lived or worked in Northumberland to gain skills in co-production and project management.

Trainee’s gained knowledge in basic planning tools, consultation, budgeting and finance as well as taking part in creative discussions about good practice as an artist and what is participatory arts.

At the end of the programme, artists had the opportunity to take part in mentoring to develop their ideas as they created their own projects.

An interactive performance written by Alison Stanley, allows young people to explore online bullying and the effects it may have on those involved.

Taking part in creative workshops after the performance, young people were supported to delve deeper by creating and acting out their own scenarios using the performance for inspiration.
