Helix Arts has delivered high quality, safe arts experiences throughout the pandemic.

On Monday 19th July, most restrictions associated with pandemic were lifted and wearing a face covering is now a personal choice in England, however we also know many people may still choose to wear face covering, particularly those who are more vulnerable.

We are committed to ensuring all our participants, partners, volunteers, artists and employees are kept as safe as possible. So, for the time being, we will be continuing to encourage everyone taking part in in-person sessions (unless exempt) to wear face coverings, maintain social distancing, regularly sanitise their hands and to not attend sessions if they feel unwell or have a high temperature.

Helix Arts has a long history of working at the forefront of participatory arts metrics and is recognised as a leader in peer reflection and social policy. Our quality framework, known as Momentum, originated as an internal quality assurance system and has now developed into a 360-degree reflection process. It was also developed to address gaps in quality measurement/ metrics and became our Quality Framework for Participatory Arts.

Arts Council England describe us as having “an exemplary approach to self-evaluation” and an “innovative attitude to digital development” that makes us “lead practitioners in participatory art” with a demonstrable record of “positive impact on the wider participatory arts landscape.”
