Helix Arts has delivered high quality, safe arts experiences throughout the pandemic.

On Monday 19th July, most restrictions associated with pandemic were lifted and wearing a face covering is now a personal choice in England, however we also know many people may still choose to wear face covering, particularly those who are more vulnerable.

We are committed to ensuring all our participants, partners, volunteers, artists and employees are kept as safe as possible. So, for the time being, we will be continuing to encourage everyone taking part in in-person sessions (unless exempt) to wear face coverings, maintain social distancing, regularly sanitise their hands and to not attend sessions if they feel unwell or have a high temperature.

Thank you for your understanding.

Our Communities

We work with communities across the North East of England. Our work currently focuses on arts and health, social inclusion, and criminal justice.

We have already established close connections within our communities and will continue to do so in the future by making sure our programme is relevant to our communities and reflects their issues and concerns as well as hopes and dreams, expanding our reach, and engaging more people who do not normally take part in publicly funded arts and culture.
