Rachel joined the team in June 2021, formerly much of her career taking place in Birmingham. She has extensive experience of working with those from inner-city areas, low income and disadvantaged backgrounds and is passionate about using the arts to enhance wellbeing, share stories and make change.
“Watching people grow through arts, finding strength and confidence that they didn’t know they had is hugely powerful and part of my work that I have always valued.” Rachel has a particular interest in working with young people in the care system.
Rachel also works as a freelance Vocal Tutor on an award-winning project bringing singing games to life-limited children at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
She is a keen amateur singer and violinist and in her spare time loves being by the sea, gardening and watching Formula 1.
