Summer of Fun

Summer of Fun was a great way for children and young people from Wallsend and Howden to spend their holidays.

We worked with artists to offer a wide variety of artforms at different sites around the area.

Summer of Fun was a collaborative programme in which Helix Arts, Active Future and 5 schools from across Wallsend and Howden.

A large number of young people took part in different arts workshops ran by established artists to help them get creative, have some food and make new friends during the summer holidays.
