Archived

The Tyneside and Northumberland Mind team worked to provide a programme of high quality participatory arts activities to promote wellbeing and resilience in residents of South Tyneside aged 18 or over.

MIND, South Tyneside Council

People:

Cheryl Gavin

Participants from across South Tyneside worked with artist Susan Warlock on a creative journaling project in 2015. Aiming to improve the wellbeing and resilience of those involved, each week Susan taught a new journaling technique, allowing participants to channel their emotions into their art and gain confidence in themselves.

Sessions were led by the desires of the group with artwork being unique to each individual.
