Young investigators explored the arts and cultural offer available in North Tyneside for children and young people.

Young people worked with artist Sophie Crocker and visited culture venues in across North Tyneside to investigate their cultural offer.

They created a ‘toolkit’ to guide cultural organisations in the development of their programmes for children and young people.

Matching schools to cultural venues

Three groups of young people in North Tyneside were matched to cultural venues to explore their offer. Young people were matched to provide recommendations.
