Alice has over 25 years’ experience working as a charity and arts leader. She has a strong commitment to supporting communities in the North East to have the opportunity to experience high quality arts engagement.
She has spent her career advocating for and developing creative health projects in the region and nationally in arts and health policy development. Alice was a Founder member of the Culture Health & Wellbeing Alliance and was the Creative Health Associate for the North East, North Cumbria and Yorkshire, working for the National Centre for Creative Health and the NENC Integrated Care Board until March 25.
Alice was Adviser to the Baring Foundation/Winston Churchill Memorial Trust partnership on creative ageing for 5 years and is currently working as a Consultant supporting arts organisations to develop their creative health work.
In her spare time she loves walking on Northumberland beaches and practices stone carving.
