The horrific attack in Southport has caused unspeakable loss. We will stand together to create supportive and welcoming spaces for people.
The current violence and targeted racist attacks across the country has led to huge amounts of fear and anxiety among our Global Majority communities, staff, artists, friends and families.
We stand united with our staff, communities and artists to reassure them that the actions of a minority don’t represent the views of the majority. We know our work creates space for sharing, for people to explore their feelings and we will do this carefully and to continue our work in the safest way possible – this might mean adjusting what we do and how we do it.
We will not tolerate hate of any kind.
