The North Tyneside Cultural Education Partnership (NTCEP) is seeking a passionate educator with a strong understanding of the cultural sector to help lead our work embedding creativity across local schools.

As Vice-Chair, you’ll support the Chair in guiding our Steering Group and delivering our annual action plan. You’ll champion arts and culture in education, helping drive forward key priorities and strengthen connections across the borough.

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Support funding bids and strategic planning
  • Represent NTCEP at regional and national CEP meetings
  • Share expertise to help shape inclusive cultural programmes
  • Build relationships with SLTs and Governors in schools

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending 3–4 Steering Group meetings per year
  • Leading meetings in the Chair’s absence
  • Supporting the Chair in managing the NTCEP Coordinator

About the NTCEP

NTCEP is a partnership of education and arts organisations working together, enriching access to cultural opportunities for young people, sharing resources and improving the visibility of cultural education across the borough.

Members of this partnership aim to:

  • create opportunities for young people
  • support young people to be active participants in arts and culture
  • actively listen and respond to youth voice, as co-producers and decision-makers
  • advocate the importance of high quality arts and culture
  • enhance resilience, confidence and wellbeing of young people
