On 30th June 2022, artists from across the region came together to network and share their current projects.
We began the evening with communal bubble blowing with the Social Art Network before we had a full evening of creative conversations, with several artists taking to the floor to share their current projects.
Sneha Solanki shared Eating Things, a project which allows you to explore what you can pick to eat from the environment around you and the upcoming foraging walks and events coming to North Tyneside.
Maria Mazza, photographer, shared Amber Meadow Well 2021– a community portrait project showcasing work from 1981 by Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen of interior images from homes on the Meadow Well Estate. The aim was to start conversations with local residents about the past, present and future – engaging all generations and examining what has changed.
We also shared upcoming opportunities and everyone got involved with North Tyneside Arts Studio’s #Cranes4Ukraine project.
Stay tuned for our next Artists’ Social!
