Artists’ Agency is Helix Arts Artist Development Programme.
We run monthly CoCafes in North Shields.
CoCafes are monthly free friendly drop in spaces to make new connections, share project ideas, get support and feedback.

Helix Arts are hosting evenings of conversion called ‘Creative Tables’, to explore deeper challenges together or share and pitch exciting ideas over food and socialising.
The start of each event will be a relaxed mixer style, before our guests begin and a chance to Q & A and further support one another into the rest of the event.

Helix Arts’ host Kitty McKay welcomes Sofia Barton.
Illustrator and socially-engaged artist, Sofia Barton, will lead a workshop on selling work and commerce for artists of all kinds. While grants and gallery representation are fantastic, they can be unpredictable.
This practical, empowering session focuses on helping artists build a more predictable, sustainable monthly income

Arts Council England has announced that its Developing your Creative Practice programme is now open for applications.
Grants of up to £12,000 are available to support the development of independent creative practitioners working in dance, theatre, music, visual arts, literature, combined arts or museums practice.
The aim is to offer practitioners the time and space to work on ambitious and innovative research and development opportunities to make a step-change in their practice.
The next closing date for applications is 12 midday on 2 July 2026
