3 new jobs at Helix Arts this March!

It’s an exciting time at Helix Arts right now!

It’s our 40th Anniversary, we’re also expanding our arts and health work in North Tyneside, and we’re about to embark on lots of other exciting projects across the region.

To make this happen, we’re recruiting for 3 posts:

  • Arts and Health Manager (North Tyneside): £30,000 p.a. pro rata – 30 hours per week. Permanent.
  • Creative Producer (Regional): £27,163 p.a. pro rata – variety of full- and part-time working. Permanent.
  • NTCEP Development Coordinator (North Tyneside): £25,000 p.a. pro rata – 15 hours per week. 1 year with possible extension depending on funding.

ARTS AND HEALTH MANAGER

Would you like to join our team to support the expansion of our arts and health work?

This is an excellent opportunity to deliver a range of participatory arts projects as part of our arts and health funded work and to grow our social prescribing offer in North Tyneside.

The Arts and Health Manager will be highly experienced, highly motivated and capable of managing and administering the delivery of an Arts and Health (Social Prescribing) programme in North Tyneside. The principal aims of this are to improve health and emotional resilience amongst identified individuals within the communities of the North Tyneside area, reducing reliance on clinical forms of treatment using the arts to help improve confidence and self-esteem, learn new skills and increase social interaction.

The Arts and Health Manager will be someone who can provide exceptional strategic partnership working, strong planning, coordination and creativity to the team to deliver social prescribing programmes with VCSE partners in North Tyneside. The successful candidate will collaborate with strategic and delivery partners to deliver a range of arts and health – participatory arts offers across the borough.

This is an excellent opportunity to deliver a range of participatory arts projects as part of our dedicated and hard-working team.

We are looking for an experienced Creative Producer who couples brilliant organisational and people skills with a love of arts and creativity as well as being an adaptable and personable team player.

We are interested in a person’s values and lived experiences, something which aligns closely to our work, the company ethos, and Helix Arts’ team culture. It’s important our workforce represents the diverse communities we collaborate with. If you feel less represented and want to make that change, then we are very keen to hear from you!

We are looking for someone who can work well in a team and already has experience of project management and a proven track record of working as a Creative Producer. Experience of co-producing work with Children and Young People and/ or producing public art projects is desirable.

NORTH TYNESIDE CULTURAL EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Hours of work: 2 days per week (including a Tuesday) 7.5 hours per day plus 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

Salary: £10,000 pro rata per annum (£25,000 per annum  FTE)

Initial 1-year contract subject to funding.

North Tyneside Cultural Education Partnership is seeking to appoint an experienced Development Coordinator to support its development, membership, Steering Group and delivery of its planned programme and projects.

The Developmental Co-ordinator will support the North Tyneside Cultural Education Partnership Steering Group to achieve its objectives and particularly focus on:

Managing the communications for North Tyneside Cultural Education Partnership

Support governance and strategic positioning for the North Tyneside Cultural Education Partnership

Managing the delivery of the CEP action plan; key deliverables; including communications for North Tyneside Cultural Education Partnership, membership development, governance and strategic partnership development.

Leading on the coordination and administration of North Tyneside Cultural Education Partnership and be the key point of contact for all members.

Collating and disseminating information from cultural organisations to CEP members.

Undertaking any other administrative duties set by the North Tyneside Cultural Education Partnership Chair.
